Welcome to Fennec ASR. This Privacy Policy explains how Ember Technologies, LLC, a Montana limited liability company doing business as Fennec ASR (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you use our API and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

2. Our Data Processing Philosophy: Privacy First
We have built our Service with your privacy as a core feature. We want to be explicit about the data we do not collect or store:

Audio Data: We do not store the audio files you submit. Your audio is processed in temporary memory and is irretrievably deleted as soon as the transcription is complete.

No Model Training: We do not use your Audio Data or the resulting Transcripts to train our machine learning models. Your data is your data.
3. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information solely to provide and improve the Service:
a) Information You Provide Directly:

Account Information: When you register for an account, we collect your name, email address, and company name. This information is used to create and manage your account, provide customer support, and communicate with you.
b) Payment Information:

We use a third-party payment processor, Stripe, to handle all payments. When you provide payment details, you are providing them directly to Stripe. We do not collect, receive, or store your full credit card number or other sensitive payment information. We only receive a token or confirmation from Stripe that a payment has been made. Your payment information is subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
c) Information Collected Automatically:

Server & API Log Data: Like most online services, we automatically collect log data when you use our Service. This data may include your Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type and settings, the date and time of your request, and API usage details. We use this data for security, debugging, and preventing abuse. We retain this log data for a period of two (2) years.
